All About Graham Perkins
Seeking connections between disparate objects to create small, whimsical and often unfeasible worlds. Alternatively, tongue-in-cheek comments on our relationship and need for functionality within the artifact.Graham Perkins runs the Forge Arts Gallery which is situated in the picturesque rural village of Hackthorn, just 6 miles north of the city of Lincoln. We are the main outlet for celebrated local chainsaw carver Mick Burns and award-winning metalforger Bob Oakes and have acquired an exciting range of work from skilled clock carver Terry Hooley. In addition to work from the above artists, we have some unique jewellery, hand-made cards and one-off books for sale. We specialise in woodcarved furniture and house signs and our picture-framing facility is set up for superb quality framing. We also have an interest in film-making. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday (11-6pm each day), and being located on the doorstep of RAF Scampton, chances are you'll also catch the Red Arrows giving their own carving demonstration!
