Art at Hackthorn Hall AOTM members have been given the exclusive opportunity to exhibit and sell their work at Hackthorn Hall, when the gardens and village hall are open to the public on Sunday September the 14th. Hackthorn is situated seven miles North of Lincoln just off the A15. The Forge Arts Gallery in the village will also be made available to AOTM Members. The owner of Hackthorn Hall in conjunction with the Estate Office will help to publicise the event through their normal channels. This is great news and offers to be rewarding. Art at Fotherby AOTM members are invited to exhibit 3D work when the gardens are open to the public on Sunday July 27th, in aid of ‘National Garden Events’ at ‘Woodlands’ Peppin Lane, Fotherby, Louth. For more information contact Bob Armstrong, T. 01507 603586 Art at the Yard The Spout Yard Community Park at Louth has recently opened a brand new art gallery, it has been proposed that a weekend event entitled; ‘Art At The Yard’ be held throughout the first weekend of August 2008. It is intended to have sculpture displayed throughout the gardens and to display paintings and fine art in the Gallery. A preview to invited guests will be held upon the Friday evening. There will be no entry charge to our exhibitors, though a small commision will be charged on all items sold, proceeds to the Spout Yard Trust. This should prove to be an excellent event, more details to emerge later. Art at the Brayford In August 2008 we will be holding a Saturday and Sunday two day event entitled; ‘ART AT THE BRAYFORD’. Covered stalls will be made available along the Brayford front and artists will be asked to bring along their easels and paint. Sculptors and those working in 3D will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. All artists will be encouraged to sell their work. The event will be highly publicised and we will keep you posted as more details are made available. |
