BIG ART on The Brayford 2009
Posted Tuesday, 9th Jun '09 The Opportunity
Art on the Map members are once again invited to take part in this 2 day event at the Brayford Pool in Lincoln. Only Art on the Map members are invited to participate in this event which is organised by the Lincoln Business Improvement Group (Lincoln BIG). Once again the overall ambience of the event will be that of a Parisian art market, with artists and makers not only showing and selling what they produce but also demonstrating their art (painting, sketching, making work where appropriate). Situated right in the heart of Lincoln close to the city centre, opposite bars and restaurants, the revitalised Brayford Pool with its laidback cosmopolitan feel is an ideal venue to host this type of event.
Marketing
Lincoln BIG organize almost 200 days of successful events each year. The Lincoln Artists’ Market series will be supported by a publicity campaign including posters/flyers and banners, alongside direct media contact with printed press, radio and television. The events will feature on the Lincoln BIG website (www.lincolnbig.co.uk) with a dedicated URL to aid navigation.
